Even the Canadians won’t tolerate artificial ingredients in their food from the likes of Kraft foods.
I don’t know why Americans still tolerate it to a large extent.
The big corporations like Kraft foods do bear some responsibility in creating the situation that we Americans find in ourselves in now: Much of the food available in the stores is loaded with chemicals and artificial food additives.
However, the big corporations are just filling a niche, a very large and growing niche of consumers who want convenient food that they can crack open and pop into the microwave and it’s ready to eat in 5 minutes or less. These consumers don’t have time to prepare food themselves so they delegate it to big corporations like Kraft.
Kraft and the other big food corporations will continue to sell these chemical laden food products for as long as we the people buy them.
Good News: There are still highly affordable food options available that do not contain food additives and chemicals.
You don’t need to be rich to eat healthy, you just need to spend some time in the kitchen preparing and cooking your own food instead of letting Kraft do it for you.
If you are reading this message, then you probably spend at least 2 hours a day watching television or surfing the internet.
Spent 1 hour preparing healthy food instead of munching down on mass produced chemical, laden junk food then plopping yourself down in front of the television or computer for 2 hours. You will be less likely to get cancer, you will spend less money on food, and you will feel better than afterwords, than you do after eating processed junk food.
Additionally, your refusal to purchase processed junk food from Kraft and the others, will force them produce healthier foods that people will buy.
For many Americans this is a foreign concept, literally; but we are a nation of immigrants, How did your ancestors cook and eat when they first came to this country? Any doctor who is not owned by big business can tell you that recent immigrants to this country who retain the same ways of cooking and eating they had in their native countries; eat healthier than most Americans.
Note: Warren Bruffett owns a large amount of stock in Kraft Foods

Your Idea
Category: New Products
Idea Name: Chemical Free Foods & Beverages
Description: I tried Toblerone Chocolate made by your affiliate company in Switzerland. The product is excellent. The Swiss apparently know how to make chocolate without adding all the chemicals and artificial crap that American companies find the need to put in their products. I suggest reformulating American brands of foods and beverages so that they don’t include chemicals and artificial crap.
Applications: People could enjoy a longer, healthier life with reduced incidents of cancer and other terminal illnesses. Illnesses that can be attributed in part; to food additives and chemicals that large American companies put in the food sold to the American public. By removing these substances from its products, Kraft Foods corporation could open up or expand markets in Europe and Asia where the
people don’t go for the chemicals and additives that Americans will accept on their tables.
Patent: No, certainly not.
Commercialized: Yes, in the past when American Corporations had a sense of responsibility to the public well being and public safety that exceeded their short-sighted greed for quick profits.
Consumer Research: Yes, consumer tastes are changing, the American people are starting to demand healthier foods, that have not had the nutrients processed out of them, and loads of chemicals added to them to supposedly improve taste and appearance. We are becoming wary of foods that were designed to have
shelf lives that exceed anything that nature intended, with the sole intention of increasing corporate

Our Reply
I didn’t think I would get any real response to my comment / questions. (there was no way Kraft could respond without admitting that there is a serious problem with it’s corporate values.) Maybe the best that my comments will achieve is: being part of a “silent shift” in American corporate behavior that will eventually result in you people producing and selling more food that isn’t loaded with chemicals and food additives; like you do when you want to sell your products in Europe.
Do the top executives of Kraft feed their families with the crap that Kraft sells to the American public? (I don’t think so, unless it was during a photo-op for some media interview or public relations campaign; and then I’m pretty sure the uneaten portions of that food would go straight to the garbage disposal after the camera crews and journalists packed up and left. )
Has anyone read this article about Warren Bruffett? (one of the richest men in America who owns stocks of many major companies you buy stuff from everyday)
http://blogs.wsj.com/deals/2011/11/14/warren-buffett-a-dow-stock-index-fund/tab/comments/?sort_order=desc
This is far too much power for one man to have. I think we should start to boycott the companies that he owns stock of by not buying products from them. His stock ownership has an enormous reach and It’s nearly impossible to to live in America and not buy at least a few of the products produced by the companies he owns stock in.
However, a good start would be Coca Cola products, anything from Kraft foods, Proctor and Gamble, and Certainly Wal-Mart and Bank of America. Substitute these items and institutions with smaller local brands / stores / banks and credit unions, beware that store brands of toothpaste and soaps are often made by Proctor and Gamble.
We gave this man and others like him power by buying their products and services instead of locally produced products and services. We the People can take that power away from them by voting with our wallets.
